Breakfast Club part 2

I treated myself to a nice breakfast yesterday and that has kept my spirits up for the whole of yesterday including today!  I know people may think it's weird that I enjoy my morning routine/breakfast so much, but let me tell you, the breakfast place - the breakfast tradition- is truly unique and interesting.

Whenever I go to my breakfast diner, I'm always amazed and never prepared for what I would see.  Last time, it was a bunch of Sex-and-the-city housewives chatting away; this time, it was an old man, which sort of like performed a surgery on his breakfast of eggs and beef.

Basically, he brough along toasted bread that he made at home and needed to transfer/combine part of his breakfast (that he purchased from the diner) to the bread in order to make 2 sandwiches.   The man needed to make 2 sandwiches essentially.  But honestly, the way he was doing it, pouring the sauce, then packing the sauce, cutting up the beef and mixing it with the eggs and the sauce, bringing out the butter and mixing it with the jam...omg, it was so complicated.  All the while he was doing this, he was tyring to be discrete, organized, and mess-free.

Waiting for him to finished just pretty much stressed me out.  Well, that's his thing; but can you imagine that he probably goes through this every morning?  I cannot imagine.

Anyway, the point is, the next time you visit your diner for breakfast, check out the people there and you'll discover that everyone has their own unique routine that they go through with their food.  Whether it's a particular way of adding sugar to their coffee, the place setting, the way they eat their eggs...or what they bring along with them.  The fascinating thing is that they do this all the public eye!  You know, they are having this private (comfortable) moment in a very public place.  The juxtaposition is ever so addicting...if you get what I mean.
