The fear of marriage, commitment.....

Relationships in my family have not been the greatest. My mom and my dad are fine...but everything else is.....not, practically.

My aunt in Switzerland is married, but the guy is not so good, according to my uncle.
My uncle, divorced and remarried.
My grandma, also divorced and remarried.
My other grandma, had a tough marriage, did not get along well with her mother-in-law, husband gone most of time? At least that's what I've heard.

My other relative, her husband also ran away.  Gone.

So........................................I do think about this stuff a bit.  Of course, every couple that has ever decided to get married were all lovey-dovey at one point in time.  And every one of them all had this vision of happiness and perfection.  None of them would go into marriage thinking that they would end up in divorce.  To marry is not to divorce.

But, as you all know the statistics, that's not how it is for everyone...............
