Our beach side cafe

Chris and I, for the past year or so, have been toying with the idea of having our own restaurant/cafe near the beach.

For Chris, he has always wanted to have his own business and for me, I've always said to myself that I would never teach forever, that I would have a second career if I can.

The beach side cafe sounds perfect.

Chris has always loved the beach (surfing) and I have always loved living by the beach.  I just love the weather, the smell and sound of the ocean, and the environment, so laid back, so carefree...even thundershowers are so much more bearable there, I feel like.

I don't know if we are just daydreaming - a symptom of being and working in the city for too long - but I know that I would be happy if we do manage to own a little cafe by the beach.

Chris says he will do investment/stocks in the morning and when the market closes in the afternoon, he will go surfing.

Me: But who will help me to manage the cafe? 
Chris: Don't worry, I will help you!
Me: yeah right.....

For me, I want to continue writing.  Writing has always been my passion.  So, I will manage the cafe and write......and possibly teach English.  Why not?
