Death

There was an accident in my neighbourhood today and the pedestrian was gone.

It happened just down the street from me as I was waiting for the bus.  I pass by that area everyday and I never imagine that anything, anything, would happen there.

I think I was lucky in the sense that I didn't actually see what happened.  The woman who was sitting next to me on the bus, however, saw the whole incident.  Heard everything.  omg.

How many of us have actually witnessed death - I mean, right in front of us?  Life and death; death and life.  I believe that there is no bigger contrast than that.

Chris and I, I guess we are doing alright.  We stopped arguing, but the dilemma is still there, at least for me and I'm sure, for him too.
