Halloween 2012

Chris and I celebrated Halloween on the weekend.

I know, I know, you are probably thinking that we are early since Halloween isn't until Wednesday.  But you know, we both need to work on during the week, so we could only squeeze in the festivities on weekends. 

It was great fun.  We met up with a friend who was in town for a function.  I'm looking at his new business card now and he's an 'Artist Talent Agent' for the company 'Super Entertainment.'  His band was in town for a performance, so we met up with him just for a little bit...blah blah blah.

Anyway, this year for Halloween, Chris wore an huge afro, a long maxi shirt (borrowed from me), blingy shades (also from me), multiple gold and pearl chains (from me), and sported a cool 'tude (all his own).

As for me, I wore an electric blue wig (a short bob), bold red lips, and a neon colour jumper and tights.  I'm not exactly sure what I was going for...I guess, some sort of thing from the 80s.

Regardless, as a couple, I think we looked cool.  Not trying too hard, but different enough from the mass of zombies and lolitas on the streets. 

And that's what I've noticed this year.....it's that a lot of girls simply dressed sexy - with the short minis, deep V's, and high platform heels - as Voila! That's their costume.  Don't get me wrong, I think they are drop-dead gorgeous!!!  But when the entire street is full of them, looking all similar, it makes it a little weird.  I don't know.

Chris wasn't too into it....well, maybe he just didn't want me to know...LOL =D
